lovely miranda
The most amazing thing I have found about blogging is the many beautiful souls that have come into my life as a result. Being able to connect deeply with kindreds from around the globe, sharing our dreams, fears, laughter and tears fills me with so much gratitude and joy in ways I will never be able to explain.
The lovely Miranda above is one such beauty. She found my blog, as she also lost a pregnancy, and she reached out to me a few months back. An email friendship was soon formed and when I announced that I had become the accidental caterer, she became my first official client.
When I first visited her blog, I snuggled in and went through all her photos. I noticed right off the bat that she has a real eye for capturing the souls of animals and when I asked her about this, it was very clear that her love for furry critters runs deep. Check out her critter photos, she is very talented and her love for them shines through the camera lens.
Miranda and I met last week to discuss the details of her party menu but found ourselves at a cafe, two hours later, talking about everything under the sun ~ party talk lasted all of five minutes it seemed. It seemed as if we had already known each other and were just picking up where we last left off.
As this beauty first approached and wrapped me in her arms I couldn't help but notice how good she smelled. I mean unbelievably good. Come to find out she is a perfumer and she blends yummy custom scents. The scent she was wearing was a delicious mix of oils she had custom blended for herself. I don't normally like perfume but I wanted to bathe in her gorgeous scent.
Miranda is currently on what should be a relaxing holiday in France in a villa with her husband and family. The pet sitting company she hired to watch her furry babies didn't lock a gate at their home and her beloved Maggie unfortunately got out and was hit by a car. Maggie died last night. I can't imagine what it must feel like for Miranda and her husband, Hawk, to be so far away, unable to do anything.
I have seen the love of the blogosphere in action and am asking today that if you read this, perhaps you can give Miranda some much needed love and light. I know it won't bring back her baby, but a warm hug and some gentle thoughts never hurts.
You're a really good friend... :)

Absolutely honey. We lost our furry baby the night that Ayden was born due to her getting out and it was heart wrenching at best.
On another note, so so lovely that the two of you met and connected so deeply. This blogging world creates little miracles all of the time.
